Challenge:
Schlotterer Rolladen-Systeme commissioned M&C Energy Group to provide recommendations relating to energy cost optimisation for their site at Adnet/ Seefeldmühle in Austria.
M&C Energy Group's Strategy:
M&C Energy Group's team renegotiated Schlotterer Rolladen-Systeme's electricity contract. Additionally, the analytical team evaluated consumption levels and advised the client to change grid level, a process which includes establishing their own transformer.
Result:
Due to the grid level change, electricity costs from 2004 onwards were slashed by €66,000. Additionally, €10,000 savings per annum were gained through renegotiation of contracts in 2009.
